Amidst all the distractions, it's easy to understand that we could have missed the ongoing insidious corruption of power in economics. Michael Hudson, the prolific and insightful economist, draws our attention to the real battle afoot between two factions of the rentier class, neither of whom have an interest in you and me. One is the old neoliberal estate that has pinned us down unconscionably for decades; the other is the chaotic mobster world of finance, represented by the unapologetically fascist oligarchs. The DNC adheres to the former, the Repugnicans now represent the latter. Lest we be mired in misery for decades longer, we need to educate ourselves about democratizing the economy and take over the world of finance. We don't have to understand what they're doing; we just need to stop it. Kitchen-table acumen can get us where we want to go, but we have to want it pretty badly to overcome their distractions and inducements, their mis- and disinformation. Educate ourselves, connect in community, join the the national movement for a national infrastructure bank and public finance.

He is running around acting like a mobster with his subtle threats. They don't want to just stifle TV and radio , they want to tell you what to say and how you should say it. If you carry the MAGA agenda you will be fine.
