As I read this account of the court's proceedings, I am struck by the determination of the DOJ's attorney to avoid producing the evidence the judge is seeking to further his responsibility to determine what evidence of illegality (or exculpatory) information is in the hands of the government (DOJ). Every fiber of my former law enforcement and criminal just instincts have been piqued to the extreme. There is nothing common or routine in the DOJ's efforts to quibble or delay what truly must be devastating revelations. Revelations that will shake the political/economic/legal and even academic power structure of this nation to its core. This seems to be a case of "no man is an island" and the notion of "let the chips fall as they may" are beyond the pale. formerly, Assistant Director of Training, NYPD
I wholeheartedly agree! More than a year ago, Trump felt sufficiently pressured by MAGA pressure that refused to follow his order to move along, forget it. He started wobbling. Given his salubrious reputation, I took his fretfulness as a sure sign of guilt. And, like you, I realized he *couldn't* release the files of the foundations of the Western world would crack open.
The rape of children is the tip of the iceberg: under that disgusting and distracting playtime for perverts is massive, long-lived, international financial criminality. It will involve Russian and Israeli manipulation of American financial markets. These creatures have no loyalty to anything or anyone beyond themselves. And no one who threatens exposure will survive. Trump doesn't have friends, he only has co-conspirators without mercy.

There were many of us who could not get on the line to listen. I tried many times.

Is the judge saying that the documents he reviewed in private did not provide evidence that names that had been redacted were those of victims?
Sounds like Blanche/DOJ is arguing Judge Sullivan has no legal right to inspect documents in camera?? That is absurd!
I am not surprised by this outcome. This DOJ has demonstrated time and again that they work for Donald J. Trump and no one else.
What would happen if their pay didn't appear in their accounts this month? Probably not legal, but I smiled as I wrote it!
