Most of us, including the Supreme Court, wouldn’t be here but for Birthright Citizenshlp.

The reason to go for broke in the election? 1 The House will impeach him for multiple crimes. (the easy part). They do it in a big noisy, splashy show trial that digs deep and spreads it wide.

2 (hard part) The Senate has enough Democrats to win the impeachment vote and send him to prison, to confiscate all his stolen, ill-gotten goods, and then go after all the cronies. That should be our platform for the next 4 months.

I checked my voter registration last week and Im good to go in Illinois. You can tell people the AF means against fascism, but I like the original. 😉

So my computer kicked me off right when Popok was about to reveal what "AF" stands for. I think I know--AMONGST FRIENDS-- but is that right?

Of course it is! What else could it possibly be?

Adam is right. The 5-4 decision is dangerous and means that four members of the SCOTUS either can't read, are too stupid to understand the clear meaning of the words of the 14th Amendment, or simply don't care what the Constitution says, because that is not what their bigotry accepts. I don't think there is much doubt that the problem is a reading disability or stupidity. The reality, tragically, is that four members of the SCOTUS have their own constitution.

Thanks Adam for your vigorous take-down of the Cath-Cons in re citizenship. They showed, almost like a tease: well we will leave you this little piece, but you see we can take it, and anything else we dont like, away anytime.

Fascinating discussion, gentlemen--thank you! I've been so bummed about the Slaughter decision, among others, that I hadn't fully appreciated Justice Jackson's concurrence in the Barbara birthright citizenship case. Looking forward to your reading on the 4th, Adam!

Looking forward to that reading this week-end! :-) I heard that list of coming court cases that you may be attending! WHOA! Now I am wondering if you will be making plans to attend that BBC case?

I am definitely registered. I voted in the Primary. I have been a Moderator Captain with the DNC National Call Crew for 5 years. We’ve already been making Listening calls to voters. Come join us!
