I wish I had read this yesterday. I gave it to a friend in Mormon Women for Ethical government. They have historically been strongly opposed to family separation.

Question for you. Is it best to submit comments anonymously? That’s what I’ve been doing. Would my comment have more meaning/weight to the courts if I identified myself? Appreciate your opinion on this.

Hi Sandy, it's entirely a personal decision about your comfort about writing publicly. Some people choose to write in their names; others choose to post anonymously.

I'm about to update this story with an interview with a commenter whom I was able to contact because he posted in his name. So, it's a matter of one's personal desire for privacy vs. wanting to be visible in a public forum.
