Thanks to Abrego Garcia, his family, attorneys and supporters for showing that individuals, with a strong backing, can stand up to and receive justice.
Thank you Adam for keeping everyone aware of what was happening. Glad that, at least for him, there is a happy ending.
Awesome news and it shows that fighting this Regime can work. Sadly at such a cost to the people who have been wronged 🥺. Thank you Kilmer , you are a brave man 💙
I cannot stop thinking about the cost to those whom the regime targets (including those it kills, like Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti), and I celebrate everyone who's been fighting back -- and winning!!
The individuals who are in the fight are paying such huge costs. And then the report comes out that 90% of the people who have arrested and or locked up, have been let out because of lack of evidence or charges. The regime is only interested in the headline.
Such sick people. How do they live with themselves?
Adam, I am so glad, for Abrego, for you, and for the U.S. justice system. You have worked so long and so hard on this case, and maybe now the Garcias can live in peace as a family.
Excellent, Adam, thank you! I wonder what they might try next? We all know that Trump never concedes, he will continue to harass this poor man and his family because his racist ego is hurt…. Thank you for your coverage, Adam.
Love love love Judge Crenshaw's reference to Robert H. Jackson. Jackson was among the key prosecutors at Nuremberg bringing Nazi war criminals to justice, but I remember him especially as a Supreme Court justice who dissented in Korematsu v. United States (1944), the shameful SCOTUS decision upholding the Roosevelt administration's terrible 1942 decision to intern Japanese-Americans during WW2. As William Faulker wrote, "The past is never dead. It's not even past." And as George Santayana noted, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
This is wonderful news! Trump's hold on Republican Senators and Representatives is starting to show cracks also. Could it be that the tide is about to turn?? (she asks with fervent hope)
Thanks, Adam, for this news. I suppose this is not the end of the Trump administration’s efforts to jail or deport Abrego to any country other than Costa Rica.
Finally! I’ve been following this case with you since the beginning!
YES! Justice is served. Thanks very much for keeping us up-to-date about Abrego, Adam. May you go from strength to strength!
This is just the best news on a Friday! Thanks for delivering the news to us, Adam🙏🙏🙏

Lack of conscience probably helps. And inability to even imagine other people's realities?

Bravo, bravo and bravo! It has taken such a long time but this is wonderful news. Thank you Adam.

ALOHA. From the COCONUT WIRELESS. ... About time they let this go...

Abregi should be first in line and take all of the slush fund monies set aside for persons aggrieved by the government.

Isn’t Judge Xinis in Maryland still hearing a civil case about deporting him to Africa?
She is, and she has blocked his deportation twice to date. During the last court hearing, Xinis remained skeptical of the government's position.
🚨 The Autocrat's Echo
A billion and more, with a date for a name,
A settlement built on a dangerous game.
One point seven-seven-six, pulled from the purse,
To echo the past and to fund something worse. 💰
In Rome long ago, Mussolini stood tall,
With his Blackshirts responding to every last call.
He gave them the power, the shelter, the pay,
To shatter the system and clear out his way. ⚔️
Now look to the steps of the Capitol dome,
Where violent rioters made themselves home.
The ones who laid siege to the hallowed old floors,
Are treated like soldiers who fought in his wars. 🏛️
This fund isn't justice, it isn't a plea,
It's a payroll for those who will bend at the knee.
A permanent stipend, a golden command,
To keep a militia right there in his hand. ⛓️
It’s the autocrat's playbook, the strongman's old tune:
To buy out an army and pay them by noon.
To keep them in waiting, devoted and fed,
While the spirit of liberal democracy bled. 📜
So heed the dark echo that rings from the past,
When private militias are funded at last.
The shadow of fascists has crept to our door,
A chilling reminder of what this is for. 🚨
