After a Justice Department lawyer made that vow, two separate federal judges told him to put it in writing.
Thank goodness we have judges such as Judge Young.
He doesn’t know that the courts have not ruled in birthright citizenship. In fact, MAGA only asked the court to rule on the injunction issue because they know there is a constitutional problem with the issue itself.
"Both times, the federal judges presiding over the cases told the Trump administration to put that vow in writing."
!!!! The JUDGES need to write the statement & get the Trump DOJ to sign it RIGHT THEN, in front of the Judge!!!!
Or just ask the Court Reporter to print out what the DOJ has said in Court & ask the DOJ person to sign it -- RIGHT THEN!
DOJ will not go back & put the vow in writing (well, I wouldn't hold my breath -- but maybe I'm too skeptical???)
Adam -- can you informally pass on this recommendation to the Judges???? Print out from Court Reporter & get them to SIGN immediately....
Can you tell I'm not a lawyer? LOL
