Another example of incompetence and chaos - like the Epstein photos that were yanked away after so many people saw them - I believe there is such wild chaos and dysfunction in the administration that they will continue to make mistakes that legal professionals and journalists will find and pick them apart like what is happening here. Thank you for unpacking all this. Trump is a performative president, and depends on performative measures, and this trial is one of them. To prove how much the government is involved in the intent to demonstrate that no matter if you (an undocumented alien) are saved from deportation, you will be sent to prison no matter how insignificant your "crime," vacates the legitimacy of the case publicly. To have Abrego Garcia walk free would be a slap in the face to the whole Trumpian circus.
