If the race to redraw maps in many if not all southern states isn’t an obvious flag that what the SC did recently was wrong! What has happened in Virginia was worse. It disenfranchises every American.
I’m horrified of what is happening. I remember the civil rights movement of the early 1960’s and even as a child I was uncomfortable. This is bringing all of that back. On top of this, Trump is trying to bring more Afrikaners here on a special visa?

Virginia governor Spanberger should copy Louisiana governor and declare a state of emergency then void the court decision and reinstall the new districts that will help save this country from the autocrats. If the Virginia court doesnt like that, then the Va. Nat. Guard should protect democracy by placing them on vacation for the duration.
I so appreciate Andrew saying the reason SCOTUS' gave for their Callais decision isn't their call. I kept thinking, "why does SCOTUS get to decide that there is no need for Section 2 of the VRA any longer?" Seems to me that is a Congressional discussion and decision.

What can WE do about Calais- how do we fix or do we start over? we need forward ideas- a forward plan- vote the bigots out
