In the federal judiciary, magistrates are non-political appointees who largely assist with pre-trial matters. Here, the magistrate delivered her recommendation on the dismissal motion to the trial judge, laying out her view of what the law is.

Very disturbing: It appears as if the executive branch has the legislative branch in their pocket and the judicial branch is slowly been consumed. I feel it all started back when Trump was #45. McConnell would not let Obama appoint a supreme court justice. so when Trump was elected he seem to stack the court with like minded folks. The threats and intimidation pointed toward the judicial branch is so blatant. Sending pizzas to various judges personal homes is very intimidating bordering on criminality. . Absolute judicial immunity should be the order of the day.
