In a land where our freedoms can wobble and sway,
Where power may try
to slip justice away,
A brave band of judges stood steady as rails—
The Article III judges
who balanced the scales.
They’re appointed for life, not for favors or trends,
So no politician
can twist how law bends.
They serve “during good behavior,” bold and serene,
To keep our democracy
thoughtful and clean.
In District Courts spread through our country so wide,
They listen to cases
with wisdom as guide.
From civil complaints to the biggest of trials,
They guard constitutional
rights in their files.
Then higher they go where the Circuits convene—
Thirteen Courts of Appeals
calm, sharp, and keen.
In panels of three, they review and compare
If the rulings below
were thoughtful and fair.
And during the Trump Admin’s whirlwind of schemes,
When unlawful orders
came fast in extremes,
These judges stood firm with a courage so bright,
Saying, “No — this does not
meet the standards of right.”
They blocked overreach, they corrected misuse,
They stopped twisted logic
from running wild loose.
Their rulings kept faith with the founders’ ideals—
Protecting the people
when power appeals.
So here’s to the judges who showed no one’s above
The Constitution’s promise
of fairness and love.
