I’ve read/heard that Maxwell’s transfer from a max security facility to the “Club Fed” was in direct violation of sentencing requirements. I.e. against the written law. Or was it just against unwritten norms? Has her transfer ever been challenged in court or before a sentencing review panel? If not, why not?
Your question is well received. I’m furious that not only is she at ‘Club Fed’ but that she receives extraordinary perks. A puppy?, exclusive help drafting legal and other documents from the warden, special visitors accommodation and accommodations, and special (maybe outside? Meals). Here’s my recollection: At first all that was said was “that is handled by the Bureau of Prisons, we know nothing about it” (Bondi or Blanche or Leavitt). Later I saw Blanche say in a news clip that ‘it was handled by BOP and hundreds (?) of those cross my desk daily’. Sorry to be so vague. But that’s my recall. Fact check me, please!

One for the rich, powerful, connected and one for the rest of us. I’ll get answers and share what I find with this thread.
I’m hoping in the process of getting through “Trumpism” - and we must get through - that we will identify and correct some of the many problems that got us into this pickle in the first place. Trump and Maxwell isare monster for sure but flaws in the system enabled them.

What I gather is that she is offering to set aside the "fully and honestly" part and lie again about Trump — or why would he grant clemency? Do she and her attorney think we're that stupid, or am I reading it wrong?
Who in their right mind would believe someone in a situation like that?
Of course, we know trump's promises can be forgotten in a moment. So, he could promise her clemency and then not do it. Course. if he reneged then she could change her story again.
trump's ego is so inflated he may think that he doesn't need her testimony anyway. If worse comes to worse he'll just go start a war with somebody.

As someone else mentioned, clemency, if it comes, will not happen before the midterms. Unless there are no midterms. We are still wondering if the orange nightmare in office will try to push through the insurrection act. I am sure the prez is so pumped up with drugs to keep him going like a wind up toy but I wonder how long before he is incapacitated. Or recedes from view slowly - some progression toward that is evident with him never standing at meetings in the Oval anymore and very little travel or very short trips. And other bodily function sounds apparently being caught on tape despite urgent efforts to avoid such things. Orange loves to be in the spotlight so this is going to get harder and harder on his handlers. Other presidents have had more sensible wives that were concerned for appearances and legacies and did a lot of managing. Not Melania - she got her movie so over and out. We've seen how much people hate Vance with the booing that the mainstream media tried to downplay. I just feel there is an unknown timeline that may be speeding up to end this presidency, while we are distracted with so much going on. If he's gone, Ghislaine may or may not get what she wants. I think this is a nail biter for the administration. They can't control everything, not forever.

Is this "lawyer" Markus a brother or cousin of Blanche or Bondi?
