"...at the apparent behest of an enraged President..."

I'm so SICK of his non-stop hissy fits.

Thank you Adam for, again, better and more detailed reporting on this nauseating topic than I've seen elsewhere.

Unreal that it's gotten this bad in less than 2 years. But as in so many other cases, Trump's US Attorney filing does not mean Trump's US Attorney is getting. :) Hopefully this will lead to yet another quashed subpoena.

“Over the top” would be a damning description of the tactics of any other administration but doesn’t even scratch the surface of Trumplandia. And as Wynn (above) points out, he is such a whiney cry-baby. Hissy fits included! Thanks for stomaching his harangues in your daily reports!

I’m 76 years old and remember a time - the 6O’s and 70’s - during which “States Rights” was synonymous with the denial of civil rights. Things have changed. Now “States Rights” may be our salvation from a federal government hell bent on demolishing those civil rights fought and died for back in the day.

“During the drafting and ratification of the Constitution in the late 1780s, the Anti-Federalists were deeply concerned that a newly empowered central government would grow tyrannical and absorb the sovereignty of individual states. To alleviate these fears, James Madison introduced the Bill of Rights, including the Tenth Amendment, as a compromise. It was explicitly designed to reassure the states that they would retain control over their internal affairs and local governance.”

I’m 82, “born bred & buttered” in the Deep South & I also found myself thinking that this is indeed a strange turn of events. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I would be all for State’s Rights!

Trump is afraid of the TRUTH being reported. He would rather have reporters that are afraid to ask or write the real information. Reporters such as Kaitlin Collins scare him as he knows she knows how to ask specific questions that make a huge difference.
