You know, like presidential immunity. How quaint to think that this Court will interpret the Constitution to mean what it says when Trump needs it to mean something else.

I sincerely hope and pray that your confidence is warranted. The actions of the Supreme Court recently bring me no hope. Thomas has clearly verbalized a willingness to dispense with precedent. My wishes for a strong and successful argument go with those who will be defending the case.

I have no confidence in this SCOTUS. None. Zero. Zilch. The Roberts court will be in history books with the Taney court.
I'm sort of looking forward to what strange way of reasoning, which strange way of twisting himself into a pretzel Alito will come up with.
