Such a great conversation! Thanks so much for stating... the obvious! The demonstrations (that's what we call them) were joyful, strong; Trump and his parade were the shuffling weakness. That captures the state of the Union! Let's make the most of it -- starting at the roots, pioneer the future with or without help from "official leaders". Keep up/crank up the conversations about what we need, how to get it, and get into the nits and grits, with confidence that Yes, We Can. We don't expect it unfold with ease; indeed, we know we have artificial and determined opposition. Our energy and creativity will surpass theirs.
Thank you so much. This is hopeful and yet we must keep going forward. Each day. I feel proud of the protests , our judges, and those of us who keep fighting for democracy. I do this for my grandchildren and for America’s freedom. I continue to struggle with people in my community who are so strongly supporting Trump. Every day I choose to remain focused on doing what is right. I subscribe to a number of independent journalists because I want you all to succeed and carry TRUTH throughout the world. Thanks again.
Isn't the bigger problem the silence and compliance of the Republican politicuans ? It looks like it is impossible to imagine something bad and enough for them to be really scared
I heard something yesterday that struck home for me: Keep the boots on the ground in protest until we can get to the voting booth.
The larger the crowds the higher the chance that we convert some who are either uninformed/disinformed or on the fence. The more conversions, the bigger the win at the voting booth.
