Bravo! It is so appropriate that these federal officers who were attacked brought the lawsuit. We owe all the Capitol security personnel so much for defending Congress and a peaceful succession that day. We can all agree on that without getting into the personalities of politics. Some of the attackers have incurred additional felonies since they were pardoned by The President.

How does this benefit Cubans? Rhetorical. Cuba is simply in the crosshairs for Trump to claim another "victory."

I apologize for making this totally useless observation. I now will go do something actually worthwhile and of benefit to my family. Time to cook dinner (while we still can).

This is a brilliant analysis of the Raúl Castro affair by Professor Rowen. Thank God for our brave(?) President spending our tax dollars on going after a 94 year old man for a crime committed 30 years ago (and not dissimilar from a crime currently being committed by our very same President)! Thank you for providing such an enlightening analysis, Adam.

Is there another way to punish this corruption? For example, could a new and law-abiding administration bring a charge of conspiracy to defraud the United States?

If trump is able to arrest Raul Castro for the downing of the 2 planes 30 years ago then surely there is a case for deporting trump to say, oh perhaps El Salvador, due to his illegal bombing of boats in the Caribbean where many more than 4 people have lost their lives with no documentation showing clearly that drugs were aboard and any other manner of interdiction was impossible. Just saying!

I hope that all of my fellow Marylanders who live in his prospective district will honor Mr. Dunn’s incredible bravery with their vote for him as their Representative in Congress!

More power to the people who will follow & uphold the laws of the land. Those in power now will eventually, and by their own actions, meet justice. Meanwhile, however, their destruction of an imperfect but improvable democratic republic continues to be aided and abetted by the corruption of powerful individuals & groups in all three branches of the federal government. So more power to law enforcement applied equally and within the boundaries of the Constitution and the courts. Ilegitamate mercy must make way for crucial accountability. Now.

Thank you Adam!

In which jurisdiction is the Dunn and Hodges complaint filed? I assume that it will be upheld and that Trump will appeal all the way to SCOTUS if he needs to. What to expect then?

From Adam’s story it appears (to me) that Volume II is going to be released after all. That would be very good news but it does not comport with my understanding of events. What am I missing here?

“Remember the Main!” … After your private jet lands at José Martí International Airport you can play the progressive slots while waiting for your luggage. After that you’ll whisk away in a limo to Trump Tower Havana to sip pina coladas and game at pool side Hyman Roth Sports Book. It ain't personal. It’s a vacation! Cuba Libre!!!

It’s far from clear to me that Volume II ever will be released. That’s, in part, up to the 11th Circuit — or the possibility that it might some day be leaked. This is the first indication that anyone inside DOJ (allegedly) sent themselves a private copy outside the government’s control. I don’t make predictions. So time will tell.

Thank you, Adam. Am standing by for a Anthropic update. Everything in its own time. No rush, sir. When you report I will respond with a link to a few pics I took at the hearing here in SF. I must remain realistically hopeful. I hope the pics will be viewed especially by younger folks interested in Justice and the law. IN THE END we are - must be - a nation where the law protects. Your reporting and that of others is fundamental to keeping that premise alive. Right now it appears to be on life support.
