Every bit of legal pushback helps. Strangely, the law has kept me sane this year because the people violating and abusing the law are so venal and pathetic and mean. Thanks for your tireless reports, Adam.
Thanks Adam. Well done, as usual. I have a general question about Todd Blanche. He obviously wants to be AG. He can be "acting" for how long? 120 days like an AUSA? What happens if trump does not nominate a replacement for Bondi? Would Blanche need a second Senate confirmation to become Attorney General?
There's a vacancies statute that appears to indicate that Blanche can remain in his role indefinitely, according to my read of the statute and conversations with legal experts. But it's not entirely clear. Remember: Blanche was Senate-confirmed before as Deputy AG.
Imo , the Senate Dems should block any consideration of confirming anyone until after the midterms - hopefully, we'll be in a little better position then.
Adam, I would imagine (and I do hope) that the ruling on the humanities will affect other anti-DEI edicts concerning book bans, educational course materials, and even the administration's meddling in university hiring and student admissions. What do you think?

Why is gerrymandering to increase white voters in a district not considered racial gerrymandering? What am I missing?
Excellent question.

“86 the tariffs.” (?) … 86 47!
Everytime trump sees a law he wants to grab that law by the .........
'86 the tariffs!' lol, thanks for that.
