Considering that Bessent continues to rebuff’s Wyden’s requests for Bessent to release all material related to Epstein, I doubt that this request from Wyden will be answered by Bessent in a satisfactory manner. Are there truly no other ways to obtain answers and documents from the Treasury? If so we need to rectify this situation when we rewrite the Constitution. If nothing else, this regime is exposing the limits of our so called balance of powers. I think next iteration of our government, we have the ability to call for a no confidence vote and force elections early and often.

When I first met him (back in the days before radio) I didn't much like him, but over the years he has stepped up and stepped up and I have come to appreciate his skill and diligence, and that of his wonderful staffers. Some of this attitude change is in me, a lot is in watching him over the years. We're lucky to have him. (Merkley and his great staffers too! They're digging in hard!)
Of course Trump doesn't want to do anything to the Turkish bank as he has property there and an interest in keeping his relationship with the government secure.
